Pictured above are my April TBR picks from my TBR Bingo challenge.

CHALLENGE ONE:

“Read a book over 500 pages”

Book: The Ruin of Kings | Jenn Lyons

This book was kindly sent to me by Pan Macmillan in the month of March and as soon as I pulled out this challenge I knew I had to read this book. I absolutely love any book with dragons so I cannot wait to read this as I have no doubt that I will absolutely love it!

CHALLENGE TWO:

“Re-read”

Book: The Butterfly Club | Jacqueline Wilson

I absolutely love pulling this challenge out of my jar as I know I can dive into my huge Jacqueline Wilson collection. I have really enjoyed reading these books as an adult as there is so much you miss as a child. I really can’t wait to re-read this book!

CHALLENGE THREE:

“Read a graphic novel”

Book: Heartstopper | Alice Oseman

I have been wanting this book for SO long, and when I saw it on the “buy one get one half price” table at Waterstones I knew it had to be mine. I actually read half of it while I was waiting for my friend, I could not put it down. I cannot wait to start reading it again and find out what happens. I have recently started following Alice on twitter and it just makes me love her even more.

CHALLENGE FOUR:

“Read a book under 300 pages”

Book: City of Ghosts | V.E Schwab

YES YES YES! Last month I met V.E Schwab and I read her books for the first time, she quickly became one of my favourite authors of all time. I’m so glad I can incorporate one of her books into one of these challenges. I have heard such good things about this one, I mean come on its V.E Schwab its inevitable I’m going to love it. Shall I just rate it 5 stars now?

CHALLENGE FIVE:

“Read a full series”

Books: Nevernight & Godsgrave | Jay Kristoff

When starting my bookstagram account this was one of the first fantasy series that I picked up. However, I haven’t managed to get round to it UNTIL NOW. I have heard search amazing things about this series, I just need to dive into it right now. I have a habit of really disliking hyped series so I’m hoping this one does not disappoint me.

THATS A WRAP:

So there we have it! My April 2019 TBR Bingo picks. I have a wide variety of books here and a lot of pages to read so I better get a move on. I will post my results at the start of May in the “wrap up” part of this blog. Stay tuned!
