Pictured above are my March TBR picks from my TBR Bingo challenge.

CHALLENGE ONE:

“Read a Stephen King book”

Book: Sleeping Beauties | Stephen King

I went through a phase of buying even Stephen King book I found in the charity shop. This has resulted in me owning so many unread SK books that I have put myself on a ban. I was really happy to see this challenge appear and I have been wanting to read Sleeping Beauties for such a long time, especially since I found this special edition hardback in the charity shop for £1.

CHALLENGE TWO:

“Read a full series”

Book: Vicious, Vengeful, A Darker Shade of Magic, A Conjuring of Light and The Gathering of Shadows | V E Schwab

Yes, this is two full series but there is a method in my madness. On 12th March 2019, I am meeting V E Shwab in Nottingham, Waterstones. Before this I wanted to read as many of her books as possible, hence the reason I chose her two most popular series. I have heard so many good things about this author, I cannot wait to dive in!

CHALLENGE THREE:

“Read a graphic novel”

Book: Saga Volume 1 | Brian K. Vaughan

I haven’t really read many graphic novels but I picked this one up with my christmas money because I had heard so many people say how much they enjoyed it. I know I am a bit late to the party and I have a lot of catching up to do however I am very excited to give this a go this month!

CHALLENGE FOUR:

“Reread”

Book: The Dare Game | Jacqueline Wilson

Last month I read Lola Rose by Jacqueline Wilson as part of the same challenge. This month when I drew the challenge again I knew I had to read another of my childhood favourites. I love everything Tracey Beaker and decided that this book was definitely going to be my next read.

CHALLENGE FIVE:

“Read a stand-alone book”

Book: The Priory of the Orange Tree | Samantha Shannon

This book was released less than a week ago, I preordered a signed copy from Waterstones and it did not disappoint. I knew I had to try and get this book into my TBR this month because I have already been told how fantastic it is. AND IT HAS DRAGONS IN IT, I LOVE DRAGONS. This book does intimidate me, mainly based on the length but I know I am going to love it.

THATS A WRAP:

So there we have it! My March 2019 TBR Bingo picks. I have a wide variety of books here and a lot of pages to read so I better get a move on. I will post my results at the start of April in the “wrap up” part of this blog. Stay tuned!

    1. I love Vicious so much! The villains series is wonderful! I’ve got 100 pages left of A Conjuring of Light and I can’t bring myself to finish it!
